PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION
Fiber
Form is a concrete form panel manufactured with 100% exterior glue,
and it exceeds class 1 concrete form U.S. Products Standards PS
1-83. Fiber Form has smooth .035 thick fiberglass-reinforced
plastic facing on1 or 2 sides for architectural smooth finishes.
PERFORMANCE
FEATURES
- Architectural
finish concrete surfaces. Fiber Forms inert fiberglass-reinforced
plastic face does not react with release agents or alkali in the
concrete preventing panel deterioration and assuring an
architecturally smooth concrete surface during the total life
of the panel.
- Long
product life. Fiber Form has one of the toughest, most durable
surfaces for concrete forming available. The .035 thick
facing is rigid in its own right and helps to protect the plywood
better than HDO facing on the market today. This plate-like layer
gives Fiber Form a long life and a lower cost per pour.
- Lower
labor costs. Fiber Forms smooth overlay surface allows faster
stripping and requires less repair, less cleaning and less release
agent.
- Impact
resistant. Due to the low friction properties of the overlay facing.
Fiber Form is resistant to damage such as that caused by vibrators.
- Controlled
deflection. Fiber Form is exterior-bonded at ambient temperatures
unlike HDO panels, which are bonded at high temperatures. It also
has an extremely low water transmission rate. The combination
makes deflection in form work a more controllable factor with
Fiber Form.
- Less
refinishing. Fiber Form leaves the concrete clean and free from
grain imprinting. Compared to HDO panels, Fiber Form is more uniform
in color, density, and texture.
- Cost
per hour. Fiber Forms cost cannot be beat.
SPECIFICATIONS
- Optional
sealant: specifically formulated resin sealor applied to all four
edges helps eliminate water absorption and swelling.
- Standard
panel sizes: 4x8, 4x10, and 4x12;1/2,
5/8, and 3/4 standard thickness
