What is the Newcourt Poly-Panel™?

Newcourt Poly-Panel SF is a smooth surface, high-density polyethylene sheet, overlaid to plywood or oriented strand board substrate. Newcourt Poly-Panel TX is a textured surface, high-density polyethylene sheet, overlaid to plywood or oriented strand board substrate.

Newcourt Poly-Panels are manufactured to comply with U.S. Product Standard PS 1-83, and the American Plywood Association’s PRP-108 performance standards and policies for structural use panels.* An exterior grade adhesive is used to bond the polyethylene sheet to a structural substrate. We use Group I, exterior rated plywood or APA rated oriented strand board as a core material.

Newcourt Poly-Panel™ Qualities

Long Product Life. The polyethylene overlay on NEWCOURT POLY-PANELS serves as a protective barrier against abrasion and reduces shear transmitted into bare plywood.

Minimal Maintenance. The NEWCOURT POLY-PANEL is resitant to attack by most solvents, oils, acids, and alkalines.

Easy To Install. The NEWCOURT POLY-PANEL can be installed using everyday woodworking tools for nailing, drilling, fastening, or cutting. NEWCOURT POLY-PANEL is resistant to chipping, cracking, or breaking. See our installation instructions for details.

Maintains Color. The NEWCOURT POLY-PANEL color is not surface applied. The color is pigmented throughout the entire thickness of the polyethylene.

Polyethylene is an absolute 100% moisture barrier, while preventing wicking or bacteria buildup.
FDA Accepted. Polyethylene used on NEWCOURT POLY-PANEL meets the requirements of section 121.2501 of the US FDA Code of Federal Regulations

Panel Sizes. 4’x8’, 4’x9’, 4’x10’, 4’x12’. Five foot widths and other sizes available on request.

Panel Thickness. 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 1”, 11/8”, 11/4”. Other thicknesses available on request.

Tongue and groove edging is available on two or four edges
Optional Substances include: Sturd-i-Floor Panels, Expanded Polystyrene, Isocyanurate Foam, Aluminum or Paper Honeycomb, Hardboard, End Grain Balsa Wood, or Gypsum

Standard colors are gray and beige. Custom colors are available on request and must meet minimum order quantities.
